Has anyone ever used Tara Courier in Jamaica? My husband sent documents that they requested but cannot get confirmation it has been received. My husband tried calling Tara but it is always busy and I have emailed them with the tracking number and never got a response back from Tara. I have emailed KVO but no response either.

My husband has used dhl to send me forms and they were quicker then i expected them to be. Im sure there is a member that had used Tara and had problems with the services

From the look of the spread sheet two months to be contacted for the interview but the ugly is the 5 months till the interview date from whats been seen.
My view knowing the date is better then nothing

Have you been checking both your ECAS and your GCKEY accounts, Hylton55?

I find the GCKEY one gets more updates...

However, our status wasn't updated from "Medical results have been received" until we received our interview letter through GCKEY, at which time another line to ECAS was added saying: "We sent you a letter on May 3, 2017"

Anybody knows how they conduct Background checks in Jamaica? Do they call around or do they just contact the Criminal records office ?

who knows what they actually do and if they actually do anything sometime lolol... but a co-worker of mine told be about a case where they researched the applicant called all his school from basic to High school and asked principals about him, then did a popup visit to his old community and questioned Applicant grandmother and other member of community asking if they knew him and other questions. he did end up getting approved without an interview.

Hmmm.... Have you linked the GCKEY yet? I remember there being a few threads before about different ways of going about it. I remember it taking me multiple times with slightly different answers before it finally worked. :)

ECAS is pretty easy to use- you can login as either the sponsor or the applicant. If you login as the sponsor, just use the sponsors family name, birthday and place of birth with the application number as "identity type" (the application number should be listed in the emails you have). Then if you login as the applicant, you would still use the same application number, but of course the birth date, name, birthplace of the applicant. :)
