So Base on this after medical is received only 3month to wait for a decision. I sure do hope so.

WOOOOOOW if that really is the case it would be a blessing

LOL it fooled me too for a minute, I believe they are saying it's a 12 step process as well as 12 months for processing cause if you look the first 4 steps is our time not processing.
Sorry but just rather look on the realistic side but I very much like your thinking :)

this is true but is could be referring to what they consider the 12 steps to be 12 months I've review Jan, Feb and Mar spread sheet and a few have already gotten DM so they are really trying to follow the 12 steps.

I didn't take 5 months to prepare and mail my application but I guess they rather if people really do to ensure they have read and completed the application properly the 1st time and it certainly didn't take 4 months from the time application mailed to medical received but again they are being generous on their estimated time.

so hopefully the last 3 steps will make good and take 3 months or less.. hehe

Quick question,

has anyone seen or heard of applicant from Jamaica getting DM and PPR without interview?

I've noticed in other threads that their are application from other VO getting DM with interviews and the full process taking shorter.

I dont think my BGC should take too long, My husband lived in the same house since he was born and only went to 1 school and has the same job since graduating school 15yrs ago and never left the country nor ever had any charges so there's not much to check I would think.

what else could they possibly be checking for.

Well I sure hope it is and everyone gets a speedy process

I think it's the norm for KVO now to interview everyone. This seemed to have just happened over the past year or so. Prior to that, some would and wouldn't.

I agree with JamaicanSnowflake. There are many, many people with big age differences who apply from Jamaica. The most important thing is to have sufficient evidence to prove that the relationship is genuine. :)

Trust me I give all the info and evidence they might need I even get my jp to attend the wedding and he writes a letter to them stating our relationship is genuine

Anybody knows how they conduct Background checks in Jamaica? Do they call around or do they just contact the Criminal records office ?
