***KINGSTON, JAMAICA **New Application**(as of Dec 7, 2016)***

Hi Good Day,

Can someone advise me on what to do at this time. I overstayed in Canada and i ask to leave, so therefore i left willingly and paid for my ticket to return as well, it was the hardiest thing i ever had to do because i had to leave my wife and daughter behind to return. I was advise that if i return home i should submit my application same time and the process wouldn't take long.

My application was received on May 27, 2016.
My application started processing on August 9, 2016.

I completed my interview on December 13, 2016 and i was advise that my application was approved but i have to apply for ARC in order to return. So therefore i paid for it the same day online and FAX, email and also mailed it in to the Kingston office.

it's now January 2018 and i haven't heard anything about my application, every time i reach out to the Kingston office they advise me that my application is still in process. I've been without my wife and daughter for a long time and it's affecting us physically and mentally. everything is so hard for us these days.

Can someone advise me what to do at this point.

I don't have any experience with this but another member husband overstayed and he was approved in october 2017, rec'vd his visa on the spot. He travelled back with his wife. I can't remember her name but you can read through this forum find her and contact her directly. Is your file with the toronto ARC? They have a number you can call to speak with a live person. Also, try the outland appeal forum for help. All the best. Hope you get through soon.

how many days did it take to link account ? What does it look like? I have something that says... " view my submitted applications or profiles"
underneath that " show 10 entries with a drop down menu " Is this it ??? No data in it yet. Please let me know if this is what is should look like.

I don't want to keep trying to link if this is what I need. Driving me crazy !!!

Nope not linked, husband got super excited! I called CIC and apparently I can’t ask questions about the application. I had to have my husband and them on speaker so I can ask the questions. We have to try to link it tomorrow.

Im celebrating for you, im surprise they came through so quick.

Just yesterday my hubby asked for copy of application package and I printed all 103 pages on work computer sending it down with a friend tomorrow.

Yeah I was surprised too. They ask for passport size pictures which we had originally sent with the application so it make me nervous bc I was hoping he get the visa on the spot and back for work two days later. It’s March break time and I just check the prices of tickets and they are high

Perfect timing I'm a cross my finger i get same week, that way i can take vacation while my kids are away. march break always a budgets nightmare but to be honest dat might even cheaper for me to pay the extra on a ticket cause if its a school week it gonna cost more for me to take the kids or get them a baby sitteer to pay and feed to come cocky up in my house and run up Gas, hydro and water so ill take the high proices while the kids are gone... haha

Congratulations to all getting decision made, interview request and passports back! I will update timeline from what I can get from previous posts

Just wanted to share that my husband decided to skate today with just Tshirt and boy can he skate. So shock and glad to share in his experience. My kids who are adapting in school. Currently at the dentist with my daughter and she loves to go to the dentist now after having bad experience with Jamaican dentist. Getting to walk with your loved one is so special and I cant wait for others to begin their lives! All the waiting is so worth it. All the best to everyone! How are other Landed Forum members doing?
