Same thing my background check says. I really want to get an interview date soon. Am in canada now but going home tomorrow. Really enjoyed my time and makes me feel sad going home. When did you apply?

Mine has never stated we will contact you once background check starts. All the lines used to say we are processing your application. Our application status is blank, medical passed since Aug, documents changed to not needed, background check not applicable and decision is we are precessing your application.

Yes! 4 emails no replies so we both gave up. They started to process in Aug medicals were done just after that.

We sent in our application the same day!!!!! You have almost the same timeline except for the medical which we did in September and passed in October! We got DNA request which the results came in last Tuesday so you give me hope that they may call for an interview soon!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Did the background check in GCKey change at all?

No problem. No the only thing that changed was you need an interview instead of you don’t need one at this time. I’ve noticed a trend my seems a little different I hope it’s a good thing

Hi Good Day,

Can someone advise me on what to do at this time. I overstayed in Canada and i ask to leave, so therefore i left willingly and paid for my ticket to return as well, it was the hardiest thing i ever had to do because i had to leave my wife and daughter behind to return. I was advise that if i return home i should submit my application same time and the process wouldn't take long.

My application was received on May 27, 2016.
My application started processing on August 9, 2016.

I completed my interview on December 13, 2016 and i was advise that my application was approved but i have to apply for ARC in order to return. So therefore i paid for it the same day online and FAX, email and also mailed it in to the Kingston office.

it's now January 2018 and i haven't heard anything about my application, every time i reach out to the Kingston office they advise me that my application is still in process. I've been without my wife and daughter for a long time and it's affecting us physically and mentally. everything is so hard for us these days.

Can someone advise me what to do at this point.

Is this is what it is supposed to look like ?? Does it take time for status to acknowledge the application ? I just started on Friday evening to set this up.

Make sure to include yourself in the number of people on the application. So if is your husband alone you’re sponsoring you have to put 2. There is also a note online advising applicants that online applications may not show up online for up to five days and they are working on this technical difficulty if that helps.
