OMG! That's just sad . I think you should get as many family members and friends to attest to the fact that the mother is no where to be found and has no interest in the child plus your husband should prove that he has been the sole parent.

All letters have been sent on the 27th of June. Just waiting again. August 16 will be 1 year waiting.

Sorry it wasn't approval lol I was told it was AOR for sponsor. Confusing hubby got it yesterday. Any news is wonderful.

Hi, how do you know when Kingston received it, did you called and asked or you saw the tracking somewhere online?

Mississauga sent a pdf file via email that this is to confirm that the application for permanent residence for xxxxx has been forwarded to the visa office in kingston to further processing. The letter is addressed to the sponsor. Then in a weeks time in ECAS it says we started processing your application on this date
I didnt call. But sent emails to Kingston visa office to update them using our application number and would reply with simple answers.

I used the PA information to get in only see that information nothing about SA information.

Check under your information (sponsor) info and you should see it for ECAS

I checked the ECAS I believe that only says application received and is in process.

Oh It will change to decision made. Not sure if they do simultaneously sending you SA email and change it in ECAS. I remember those times, so anxious waiting and happy to receive it!

so my application was transferred July 12 did medical July 7 after noticing other applicants had results in days last week I called Dr Gomes office the lady told me she will check with Doctor if he submit results and remind him to do so. And wala I checked GCkey today and it says pass, Now I continue the waiting game

You seems to be right behind me. I went to Dr. Gomes last month and did my medical too and saw passed like four days after I did the medical. My Husband told me he got an email the day before I saw 'passed medical" that my application will be sent to Jamaica. That was like three weeks ago. I have a friend who work in the high commission office in Kingston and last week she told me she did not see my application yet so I know its not there yet. I really do not want to frustrate her by asking everyday so I think I will ask today . Im going Canada next week for two weeks so I would love to know what is going on. My sister and friend went through the process two years ago and they were not interviewed, they also told me that they were called to bring in their passport like 6 weeks after the application left Mississauga. So much is on my mind because I would love to know the position before I leave Jamaica next week.

Yes I'm right behind you, did ECAS update? I received medical request the same day as SA and did medical July 7. I received a letter in mail dated July 6 that file was transfered and on July 12 I saw ECAS update that they started working on file July 11th.

I heard KVO has been doing a lot of interviews lately and issuing Visa on same day while you wait, Happened to a friend of mince she applied last year Aug 2016 and got interview for Feb and visa was added to passport same day and I noticed here a few 2017 have received interview dates for sept and october so I guess next for us is interview date hopefully wont take too long Keep me posted when you get an update from your friend.

I have my fingers crossed for Dec 2017
