hey,

i landed as a dependent child on 11th march 2012,

i got my pr in april-may 2012 sumtime,,

i came back to pakistan to complete my graduation on may 15 2012 and stayyed till dec 15th 2012 then i went to canada for 2 months ,

i came back to pakistan in feb 2013, and still in pakistan since then..

i m doing nikkah on 8th of january 2014 and will be going back to canada in mid of feb 2014.

as i will apply for my spouse case. should i inform them the whole situation ??

how should i fill it. as m a pr and i have to be in canada before fil gets in process. i stayed out of canada just for study purpose only..

You must be residing in Canada to sponsor your spouse as a PR. Only Canadian Citizens can sponsor from abroad. So you will need to show you reside here. Also make sure you reside in Canada for a minimum of 730 days in a 5 year period, failing to do so will result in loosing your PR status.

Since you cannot file your sponsorship until you get back to Canada, the answers will be:

Just to be clear on one point here for the benefit of those reading this. You don't "lose" your PR status automatically on the expiration date on your PR card. If you are IN Canada, then you may "remain" in Canada UNTIL you have enough days in the last five years to renew, and you do not have to renew prior to said expiration date. You only need your PR card to travel outside Canada, not to remain there.

thanks alot.. one more things..

form imm0008 needs to be validate. i have to fill that online and validate it and then print. for the rest of the forms can i fill them with black pen?? or can i fill as much as i can on computer and print remaining i can fill with the pen. help me on that please,
