Just thought of sharing this information about my citizenship application

Hi Professional congrats on your status update.

Me to got a test invite letter yesterday from CIC Scarborough. Thanks all for your best wishes. Now i need to prepare for my test.

We sent you a notice on December 31, 2013 to appear and write the citizenship test on Feb 11, 2014 at 8:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Actually I noticed that they gave you long time to appear for your test from the date of the notice !

Almost 40 days !

For me it was around 13 days only.

Clearly it is not just me and some others who have noted that corazon3 has a very rude tone which ultimately will get someone who has had enough to report him to the moderator and duly booted off this forum.

The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

2012-10-25: Application sent to CPC-Sydney
2012-10-29: Application delivered to CPC-Sydney as per FedEx
2012-12-10: Status changed to "Received" in eCAS
2012-12-24: Letter (dated December 5th) and study guide received
2013-02-22: Application in process as per eCAS
2013-08-23: RQ letter received (Dated August 16th)
2013-09-27: RQ delivered to Scarborough office
2014-01-06: Received "notice to prepare for citizenship exam" from St. Clair CIC, dated Dec. 20th.

The letter says that I'll be scheduled in the "coming months" with an asterisk adding that my exam may be delayed due to security, criminal and immigration background checks. It occurs to me that March 2016 is a coming month... :
