Just finished Inland Spousal interview - Approved!!!

We just finished our interview and at the end he told us we are going to be approved! Apparently the reason for the interview is because some people called CIC and reported that my spouse was working illegally, but he didn't care about that. He also didn't care about the errors on the dates, and in the end he actually said 'there's no way you guys are lying.'

He says he is going to approve us and send out the letter today!

Very intense process, be aware they check your social media presence thoroughly for interactions and google everything about you.

No he said he can't show us or tell us who it was, we know who we suspect because my spouse has the uncanny ability of rubbing people the wrong way....

it's called the "poison pen" letter and CIC is quite familiar with it. It happens more often then you think. In many cases it a parent who does not approve of the relationship/marriage or an ex-spouse who wants to give their ex a hard time.

We believe we know who it was. He said a couple people. He has some old co workers who were let go and resented that he was there making more money than they were.
