I was in the same situation with you. I found that after I was charged. So, immediately, I sent the missing document by courier and labeled "URGENT" document on the envelope. Good luck to you!

you mean they asked you to send them the missing document after they charged you or you found out yourself and sent them the document.

How long does the first AOR take to come through ?

2-3 weeks under normal conditions. But nobody since May3rd have got the AOR. CIO has to enter our data into computers, reverify the applications, etc. So, we have to wait till next week and see how may AORs they are giving per day and then estimate.

That is a serious on.Your file could get returned on the rationale of missing documents.The probabity of your document being returned is very high.It is not over until it is OVER so wait until you receive your documents back before you lose hope.You could still contact CIO.They could give you instructions that you should mail it stamping RGENT on it.But most cases are not usually successful cos the person at the fone is only acting to information provided

Hi Larryfillman,
Nobody asked for the document from the CIO. The only one thing I can do at the moment is: send the missing document ASAP. I'll wait and see if it could correct my mistake on time. I suggest you just send the missing document. Hope everything will be fine for both of us.

I just saw May thread…they guys are assuming that CIO staff has returned back from vacation now & will start work rigorously , as we see that june applicants are getting our CC charged constantly ….does it mean that only staff who is responsible to send AOR was on holiday and others have been working….. I may be wrong but what my understanding is they have some strategy behind this as we see a lot of app was received between march to june,2010 so they might have approach to put aside VO to get overburdened so they release the AOR after a pause to ease workload. Well what u say guys?

Even if they pause and release AORs at once, VO may be over burdened (many people apply at once with full docs). Not sure what their strategy is and why some people on May list are still waiting for their CC/DD to be charged/encashed.

We have to see what happens next week. Sometimes visa consultants may know what is happening at CIO. Does any body know such consultant ?

i think all 1st week of may applicants will get their AOR in NEXT WEEK ONWARDS INSHALLAH,

i just got my CC charged today... please update the list...

One more urgent issue, i paid with my CC in June using the CIC on-line payment portal and i was debited immediately but to my surprise i was debited again today. Can anyone please tell me how i can get my money back that i paid on-line in june ? ???

Guys CIO has nothing with which to include your new update with old files. you dont know your files numbers as yet or client IDs and they recieve thousands of apps each month.... there s no process at CIO to add what ever you sent after filing your initial apps.

I checked the MAY 2010 forum, and they just started receiving AORs. Someone whose CC got charged on July 29th just received the AOR today September 1st. That means June applications should be looking at September ending or early October for AOR. Hang in there guys, it is coming.
