Yes Its a bitterly truth one needs to accept. It was a day when people were dying to get visa to UK,, and now one gets suffocated,, Can't breath. I left it when it was just started melting down (2008),, Now everything collapsed

I am from the UK. Part of the problem is that it is already an overpopulated country (One 40th of the size of Canada, with twice its population). Yet our immigration policies for non-EU members are quite lax compared with Canada, and of course being in the European Union the whole of Europe can just walk into the UK and take jobs off UK residents.

I think the UK needs much stricter immigration laws tbh.

yes he is absolutely right ..i spend 6 years in UK
applied for Canada and move back to home land last year

though had a good job but i don't know why but didn't get mentally satisfaction
my brothers is UK Immigrant and he also wanted to move Canada

I got you I came across the same situation, which made me to come back India. I also agree with Cappuccino that UK citizens dont feel comfortable with the immigration policies. I don't think I want that policies to my home country. If i am going to canada, It never mean that I want to get everything from Canadian, It just that they need us and we will get our place as a migrants with dignity (Unlike UK),, I love my home country at the end of the day,,,

I got you I came across the same situation, which made me to come back India. I also agree with Cappuccino that UK citizens dont feel comfortable with the immigration policies. I don't think I want that policies to my home country. And at a certain stage as long as corruption is not coming on my way, I dont want to blame it for leaving India. especially, If u are in a metro in a private sector corruption is not the case. I have kept all options open for both countries. and its obvious that Canada is next to you home country, which means a lot. We are looking forward to get there for purely professional purpose. But than again u are leaving behind a lot at you home country. No critics for British people, I think they have been nice to me when I was there, Its just their frustration which making them to treat all migrants equally..

What I mean by corruption is not only in job sector it means the whole system which is
effecting normal life of normal people either your are in metro or village or govt sector
or private sector.

My native place use to be very safe 5 years ago, now situation is that now no one is safe there.
Police is also mix with thieves, they are not only looting the house but killing old
age people and alone also.

Your calculation is more realistic.

Distribution of visa qota to different VOs can not be known.
It can only be an assumption based on previous year's issuance. Right?

As per inventory published at Data.gc.ca till july 2011
MI-1- total pending cases- 7,389 and total person- 18,927
MI-2 Total cases- 1,817 and total person- 4,555
MI-3 is yet not processed and if it is 30% of total application then it must be 1500 cases and total person around 4500

Grand total- 18927+4,555+4500= 27982 lets assume 2000 visas issued till december,2011
27982-2000= 25982
New Delhi has quota of 7500 last year if assume it could be 10000 this year ( please note its number of visas to be issued not files to be processed)
In 2012
25982-10000= 15982 + new cases are still left for 2013, 2014 and so

ur calculation seems reliable in approximation
i am doubtful about the no. persons in MI 3, instead of 4500, it may be around 3000 mark as no. of cases accepted by cic is just half of MI 2

Skilled Worker Inventory as of July 01, 2011 (Cases)
New Delhi

MI1=7,389 LESS THAN THAT
MI2=1,817 NOW LEFT 200 guess i till 30 may 2011 applicant who get medicial.
MI3=500 YET till date 23 dec 2011

lets hope if total case from MI3 10000 for delhi CHC 1200
MI2+MI3=200+500=700
MI1=7389
This year Skilled Worker qouta increased from 45000 to 57000-60000.Last year when qouta is 47000 that time aloted qouta tp DELHI CHC was of 6500 application. .This year it increased to 8000 applications .MI-2 applications are almost finisted because i already talk to 2-3 applicants of MI-2 who received medicals and theY are 31 may 2011 applicants.so there not more than 200 applications left in MI-2 catgories.If we are talk about MI-3 applicants .Total applicants received are 5300 Till date and for delhi chc it has not more than 500s applications.If we add MI-2 and MI-3 then total is 700.so we minus 700 applications from 8000.It is become 7300 application.

Out 7300 applications delhi ChC working 60% on prejunes(feb26 ,2008 to 25june2010)which 4000 applications.rest of 3389 they work for before prejune(2004 to 25 feb 2008).If i am wrong kindly point out me
