congratulation...with all my best wishes....when ur payment was en-cashed dear?

Congratulations,

If you are really a Doctor, then apparently that's the reason you got your AOR in a short time.
You are not just an ordinary IT manager 0213 like me ::)

Hi, I'm new to posting but have been lurking around for a while. It's been really useful and I thank everyone in 'Team June 2010' for keeping me sane over the last few weeks of the longest wait of my life. I'm absolutely shaking and can hardly type as today I have received my AOR. ;D My details are:

NOC: 0213
Sent to CIO: 21st June
Received by CIO: 22nd June
Payment Date: 1st September
AOR received: 14th October (date of AOR 13th October)
City/Country: Leeds/England
Visa Office: London

I look forward to receiving more support from all of you as I continue with the next stage. Good luck to everyone still waiting and everyone already through to the next stage, I have my fingers crossed for all of you. :P

Congratulations, Good luck

Got AOR today

My Country: Pakistan
Visa Office: London
NOC: 4121 (FSW1)
Application reached at CIO: 10th June, 2010
AOR Received: 14th October, 2010

Best of luck for all other...

Great news, congratulations

I got my AOR but there is a problem. they write your full name as you spell it.
My spelling was correct as my passport but they did a small mistake in one of the middle names. The last letter of the second name, they wrote it I instead of L.
How serious is that problem and what should i do now? should i contact them in canada or contact my VO when applying my new documents?

unfortunately it seems so

Still can't understand why you think this?

The process slowed down IMO in the past few months because
a) CIC staff on holiday over the summer
b) Large volume of student holiday visas to process
c) Abnormally large volume of FSW applications received during May and June this year

Other than having CC/BD cashed, post-June-26 applicants haven't received any progress from CIC/AOR, not a single applicant. So IMO they will send all AORs/rejections for May and June before they start on post-June-26 AORs, and the current rate at which May and June are now receiving AORs would seem to support this.

on top of that, one can disregard July and August, as many of post-26June applicants were busy collecting ALL docs making these months 'light' in terms of applications. this was not the case for pre-26June applicants.

CIC appears to be working on pre-26June applications to finish off as quick as possible to stop increasing number of post-26June applications beyond established quota of 20,000. be mindful of cost to return all packages above this quota.

Does anyone check you application status by CAS?
I have checked mine but no record was found, though I have received the 1st AOR on the 2nd October 2010.

Please reply if anyone have any information related to this issue.

Thanks.

Hello Guys,

I have a question and i hope you can help me.

As you may already know my application was received by the CIO on June 14th and since then i didn't get any update.
I am claiming 5 points of a relative in Canada because my sister lives in Calgary and of course i typed her information in one of the applications as required.
My question is:
Do you think, claiming these 5 points can delay my application until the CIO investigates about my sister, furthermore do you think I should inform my sister to be ready if they contacted her in any way ?

Just a thought and I wanted to share it with you all.

Thanks
