a good news to share with you all. i received my AOR today Oct 7 (cc was charged on aug 27. application reached cio on the first week of june). pls update the list.

Believe cio is expediting the process and all the June applicants will receive their aor soon.

maybe we can include our family names in the table so we can observe if its alphabetical order..

I dont think so if it is the case. If you see AMY list, Alizia is still waiting for AOR (First name starts with A) and if its Family name then my family name starts with A but no response yet.....i am sure CIO has linked AORs this time with VOs.

well can any one tell me why my application is delayed????sent on 9th june2010,,rec by cio on 14th june2010,,,money order is already cashed by them .its been 3months n a week and no reply yet.................. ??? ???

Zaman, congrats...whats ur Visa Office

Can you tell about my application? sent on 15 May received by CIO on 19 May CC charged on 17 Aug and no response yet........dont worry people are still waiting even longer than u who sent at start of May.....

Now CIO have started their eligibility reviews on May/June applicants I think those who are obviously eligible will receive AOR quickly, and those who are obviously not eligible will receive rejection quickly.

Those people who are waiting longer IMO are the cases where CIO needs to spend more time/look more deeply.

So from this point of view no news may be good news, it hopefully means that you have a chance!

Guys,

Need your expert comments on 2 biggest worries of mine:-

1. My present employer is not giving me experience certificate mentioning my responsibilites. rather, they r giving a letter mentioning my name, employee id and the duration from when i have been wrkng.....pls suggest in this case what shud i do?
2. To show proof of funds, except cash/DD and travellers checks, can i also include gold? For this, i can get a letter stamped by a C.A.?

Pls help

1) take experience letter from your boss say him I need reference letter if he say
no tell him right down just job duties if he say no for that too also say him ok write
down that as company policy we dont issue reference letter.

2)you can't show anything other then money + fixed deposits, assets,gold all
are unacceptable.

Date can not be 7 oct.... not even in Canada. It shud be 6. info updated in the list.

Congratulation for your AOR
1) Yes Original One (not even which the center sends directly to schools and etc)
2) Notarized one
there is a clear assertion to this in the booklet, just original copy of IELTS certificate and PCC should send to VO

Thanks dear, my consultant is asking to send the original experience certificate, if i send original then what if i need it in future.
