hi, i processed my application last 26 of June 2010 and sent it to Nova Scotia. I sent only the application form that was available on CIC website. Here's my question: Will my application be questioned if I haven't submitted my IELTS result together? Will it not be processed?
Thank you for the reply/ies i would get from the people here.

And if the Bank Draft was en cashed what is the meaning of that? Will the applicant be processed immediately?

If your application arrived on or after 26th June 2010 it will be subject to the new rules, and IELTS (or equivalent testing body) score MUST be included else the application will be returned and not even counted as received.

If you mail it 26th June I am very surprised it has not been already returned, and even more surprised if the draft was actually encashed, since without the IELTS score it should have failed the initial completeness check.

If it arrived prior to 26th June, AND your native language it English, then I think the IELTS is not compulsory if you show you have degree etc taken in the English language.

Congratulations to those who received their AOR's... Lakhvinder, Lamhay and SA is doing good job in feeding data in Google spread sheet.

A request to all of (who received AOR) You must change your Profile and update the date of receipt of AOR.

Here how you do: Click on your profile tab on right hand side, click on “Modify Profile” click on “Forum Profile Information” and in AOR received column feed the date AOR received.

This will help others to have instant look at your posts to understand whether AOR received or not.

You should refer to topics of new regulation (after 26th june 2010), here is for whom their application received at CIO on 26 or earlier, in the new regulation you should send all of your form and supporting docs (including IELTS) along with your application.
en chashment means first acceptance of your file for further processing but the processing procedure is a timely process.

Or just first letter of surname - just for approving/rejecting this theory that AOR is sending in alphabetical order of family names.

i dnt think its about the alphabetical methodology. my first & last name is quite at the end of the alphabets, but hav got the AOR.

CIO sydney does nt take any updates or additional info since they only make their first assesment based on your first single package....once you recieve positive assesment from CIO.... than update all relevant forms as well as new fee payment form and draft to add in the new baby...

Haral.. many thanks for the reply.. but where do i send the money for my daughter to now..Canada or Ghana..I had earlier sent $1400c to cic so I dont know whether the $150 will again go to cic or to my VO.

150$ draft and processing fee payment form for the baby to be sent to Visa office after updating all her details in relevant forms with your complete application and explain it in a cover letter + get her passport now.... you will have to update her passport number in new forms as well as send a copy with rest of family`s passport copies to visa office.

By the way Congrats on your daughter... i m a father of a girl too. they are true blessings.

What method did you use to make the $1100 payment? Use the same method while sending your complete docs to Accra. Just like Haral mentioned.

Same with ACCRA Vo. No one has received any AOR for that visa office. Patience is the key. We have waited this long we cannot afford to give up now. We are close to victory

Guys,

Need your expert comments on 2 biggest worries of mine:-

1. My present employer is not giving me experience certificate mentioning my responsibilites. rather, they r giving a letter mentioning my name, employee id and the duration from when i have been wrkng.....pls suggest in this case what shud i do?
2. To show proof of funds, except cash/DD and travellers checks, can i also include gold? For this, i can get a letter stamped by a C.A.?

Yes, You need to wait till the AOR is rec'd and send all docs (including hers) to Accra. But then do not re-enter the info. in another form just make a copy of the one sent to CIO and do an explanatory leta to ACCRA.

if this the case then if somone name is from z like zenith then she will die for waiting for her AOR
from visa office as well as CIO

i think the basis is the similarities on the NOCs of the persons who got their AOR like 4131, 0213 and 1111.. as per my observation (hope not bec. im 7242 huhu)
