Background - in progress since July 5 in tracker, but shows not applicable in gckey
Eligibility - not started in tracker, but says we are reviewing your eligibility in gckey

Hello guys,

My old biometrics was linked to my profile but I've read that we have to provide new one after June 14.
Anyone here received their biometrics request with the same AOR? Also im confused which one to follow since in tracker it says my background has started but not in gckey. same for eligibility.

Is you BG in profile now says: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"?
It says this: We're checking your background to make sure you are admissible to Canada.

EE PNP - Outland (PA + Spouse +

ITA: 27 April,23
e-APR: 8 June,23
AOR: 09 June,23
received BIL: 16 June,23
Submitted Bio-metrics: 13 July,23

Tracker Update as of today:

For both primary applicant & Dependants
Medical marked Completed: 16 June,23
Bio-metrics marked Completed: But no date can be seen in activity timeline, is it normal?

BG : In progress
Eligibility: Not Started

I have a concern here, need reply from Experts.
My spouse has a different nationality, I submitted her PCC for both countries(Home country + Country of Residence)
Can this factor cause delay in BG check ??

Nothing to worry about with BIL.

About background check - the official time to process a background check is 110 days. So, you are good. If it stays "in-progress" for longer than that, you'll have to file GCMS or CBSA notes to see whether you've been sent for comprehensive security screening (which can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to complete).

Thank you for swift reply,
As I said, Both our bios and medicals are showing Completed. Here completed means passed or both are same?
I have seen people sometimes narrating passed or sometimes completed.

Medical completed/linked: June 27
Background verification: In Progress

However, no biometrics letter fee/request yet. Is that normal?

I think it's normal since you have already given your biometrics before. But you should get the biometric request soon

Thanks @flofield!

Does anyone knows anything about that "Updated: M/D, Y" field on the Tracker page (top right)?
Is that what you guys call a "ghost update"? I just noticed an update on that date but nothing changed on my profile
