So, we got the GU today. But here's the thing, only my wife's and my application received the GU. Our minor child's application is still the same as before. Is that normal?

I think child's application only gets updated in the last stage after LPP is done for parents applications. It's the same case with my kids application too and it's normal.

Test invites August 21 - September 20. Both members completed tests in August 23
* Spouse:
- BG completed: August 15
- Everything else in progress

* Me:
- Test completed update: August 27
- Everything else in progress

I am quite worried about the fact that my spouse BG is completed, but mine is still in progress even though both of us are invited to take the test. I have heard that the BG check for some applications can be complicated and can take multiple months. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Anyone has an idea on this?

Same here! Only we (parents) got GU and our kid didn’t!
it seems it’s fine according to others!

Anyone has an idea on this?

Everyone's background check is different, so can take different time. If you get stuck in security screening it can take upwards of 12 months to get clearance. As you in initial stages it could be routine background check too.

The people who get stuck, Is it during the initial background check or prohibitions most often? Hope yours is cleared very soon.
