Hopefully you receive it soon enough! All the best!
I received my GCM notes today. They don't mention anything about comprehensive screening. Here's a summary of the BCG stages:
* Criminality: Completed
* Information Sharing: In progress
* Security: Not started

To be certain, what else I can look to determine if I am under comprehensive background review ?

somewhere there, it would say A34/A35/A36 not required. Check the notes section it should say where your application is and there will be a note as well as to why its pending. Mine is in the same scenario.

Beyond a vague reference to a three-month hold for PNP verification in my GCMS notes, I've found no specific details about a 'comprehensive review' of my application, and nothing in my account clarifies this.

If there is no mention of Comprehensive Check then its a good sign. Go through your notes in detail and see when it was received by a visa office (im guessing it would be Vancouver visa office) and there would be a note right under that. Every application that requires some more checks are referred to Vancouver and they are extremly slow. The wait time to hear from them is around 4 to 6 months these days from the time they received your application
