June 2023 - emergency travel to India with expired TRV

Is there anyone help me with this situation?
I have to travel due to some family emergency and i do have valid work permit but i have applied for TRV. So what are the best options for me to re enter canada asap? Should i apply my TRV from india and sumbit my passport there? Or should i apply my TRV in Canada before leaving and submit my passport in India by filling webform? Which ever is fastest. Can anyone with the similar situation can answer? Please and thankyou.

no I haven't yet. My flight is scheduled today evening. I don't know should I apply from here before leaving or should i apply in india as soon as i land.

At this point I would apply in India as soon as you land. Either way, you're most likely waiting at least a month.
