Is there any progress in the ATIP request after complaint in this link?!
i have sent couple of ATIP requests on june 11 and july 10th.. still waiting for my GCMS notes. Couple of weeks back i have sent a complaint with all the required information to the above provided link. I got email stating that they will allocate a case officer & no email after that for 2 weeks. No update on my file from december 2021 after the test update.
Really feeling helpless & curious to know progress on my file

I'm not sure what the results are like after complaining, but at least one person in this thread got his notes after complaining:

Hi guys,

I'm still waiting for my citizenship certificate after having taken my oath on Aug 4 (case closed on Aug 18). It is really frustrating to have to check the mail every day only to find nothing. I have no idea why it should take so long to arrive, and why there is no tracking service for such an important document.

Just asking out of curiosity, does the mail come in a small or large envelope, and does it come by regular post? In case it is large, I'm wondering how they will put it in a narrow mailbox? Would appreciate if someone could share their experience.

According to at least one person, it comes in a brown paper envelope and able to be rolled up to fit into a regular mailbox. However, I wonder if it differs at all by office and also would like to get feedback from more people, because if there is any chance of it coming as a rigid envelope that has to be delivered like a package, I would want to add instructions to my address because carriers often deliver my packages to the wrong building.

Thanks! That was greatly helpful. The waiting game is excruciating and I hope it ends quickly for everyone.

I am in the se situation, what's ur office?
And do we know the average time for delivery?
Any help appreciated !
I just checked my mailbox and it was there! I'm in Montreal, and it came in almost exactly 4 weeks. As trumprefugee said, it came in a brown IRCC envelope (A4 size, not the typical letter-size), and it was folded in half by the mailman to fit my tiny mailbox.

Was there a "Do not Forward" warning on the envelope? I've been thinking of using mail forwarding with Canada Post.

In my case, I did not indicate my pr card because it does say in the application “passport, certificate of identity, or refugee travel document.“ I already have my passport so I am assuming that I was correct.

All the best.
Which office processed your citizenship application and what reason did you provide when you requested the urgent certificate?

Vancouver. I wrote a letter requesting it, and my employer wrote a supporting document (that I sent before the actual oath) that I needed to travel for work. They acknowledged it during registration (on oath taking day).

Thanks for the tip, I do have to travel third week of Oct, I will check with my office if they can write such a letter to support the expedite request

I have a question can I send the oath signed form directly from my email after oath without sending it to my representative to send it
