I am going to apply at the end of the June and to go travel sometime from October - November 2021 - for pretty long time.
Is this ok to travel with submitted application? my PR is valid till 2023.
is it better to apply online for me - if its needed I will add documents online?

Based on current trend for paper app Aor's you shud get your Aor before you leave.

Hello All,

In the end I have decided to submit my application online for 2 reasons... 1. Looks like online January applicants are getting their AORs (even applicants that have applied without any direct invitation) and 2. Looks like my browser has been randomly selected for online application and thats how I even found the online portal to begin with, but I haven't realized that until last week (my browser has been displaying "Find out if you can apply online" banner and thats the evidence of random selection according to numerous posts in this forum)... So, I went ahead and submitted my application today online. Lets hope that I haven't made a big mistake

For the digital photo requirements, what's the pixel size they are looking for?

I uploaded the digital photograph that the commercial studio provided me with - it has 50*70 dimensions identical to the physical photograph requirements. The online app accepted it without any errors (size of the photo was 700kb). If CIC determines that I would need to resize it then I will send them an resized photo. A good thing with the online application is that they can’t send it back we could send/email them additional documentation when needed.

You can leave Canada after you apply but remember to maintain your PR card and PR status while you are outside Canada

Hi guys, I have submitted my online application on 10th June, 2021 ! But I got no email after submitting my application. In the online application instructions, it says once you submit your online application, you will get an email saying your application is successfully submitted. Is it the same case with all who submitted online application?
