June 2020 - Citizenship Application

All remaining sections on the online tracker (aside from “Oath Ceremony”) moved to completed this week (Dec/16). However, the overall status there remains as “In Progress”, even though the old Application Status website shows it as “Decision Made”.

A few friends of mine waited yet for a couple more months until receiving the oath letter, so I guess it’s nice to have an update after 6 months in the dark since I passed the test (Jun/08), but it’s no real progress. And these friends of mine live in the same city my wife and I live, and applied 3 months after we did.

The best of luck to all of you, hope we can all put this behind us soon!

PS: Jul, Aug and Sep 2020 tabs on the Google Sheet have a higher percentage of DM than ours. Sure, some processing centres are more agile than others and some applicants have special circumstances that might expedite their processes, but this is a mess regardless.

Please update tracker for Nama265 - Citizenship Test request sent October 28. Test period November 1-21. Submitted test on November 21; test marked as completed November 24. Physical Presence, Prohibitions & Language Requirements are still in progress.

•November 09, 2021: Citizenship certificate has been received
•Nov 3, 2021 : Citizenship ceremony
•Oct 18, 2021 :Citizenship oath status has been scheduled
•Jul 26, 2021 :Language skills status has been updated to Completed
•Jul 26, 2021: Physical presence status has been updated to Completed
•Jul 26, 2021 : Prohibitions status has been updated to Completed
•May 21, 2021: Citizenship test status has been updated to Completed
•May 6, 2021: Scheduled for citizenship test
•Feb 15, 2021: Background verification status has been updated to Completed
•Oct 27, 2020: Application filed & acknowledging receipt of application
•December 15, 2020: started processing application
•June 12, 2020: received application

Does anyone have the link to the tracker that I see is being mentioned in the comments? Want to know how long it usually takes between exam completion and decision made. Why does it sometimes take so long...

Update to my app: Citizenship oath activity status updated Nov 24, 2021, Scheduled for Citizenship oath Mar 14, 2022 - no email yet from CIC with invite

My application tracker updated yesterday (22nd Dec) Language skills, Prohibitions, and Physical presence are now all completed. It says decision made in the client status page. However, citizenship ceremony still says "Not Started". I hope this doesn't mean a couple more months of waiting.
