Hello.
I have applied for citizenship in June 2020, i haven't received test request yet, last update on my application was in qpril 2021.
Is there anyone else in the same boat?

I applied in June 2020. Did test early April 2021. No more update since then.

who would have thought we would be waiting for almost 2 years for this. I still cant believe it. I hope we all get this passport this year.

Definitely this year! Otherwise it’s best to withdraw and reapply.

Did you try to contact IRCC? If your test was in April 2021 - it has been more than 9th months.

I applied in early June 2020, but I did my test on the 13 of September and then no new updates.

What is the point to withdraw? You are waiting almost 2 years? Then again you are going to wait 2 years?

I wrote them in June 2021 after the test in April 2021 and a request passport copies and MS teams consent form. I got a response saying that they have received all my passport copies and consent form for MS teams, and “when it’s my turn they will email me and I should only wait as they have 1000s of applications to processed.” This month I called the IRCC call centre and the person advised me to send email to the office processing my application because he doesn’t understand why I passed test 10 months ago and no movement. The call centre don’t really see much I guess.

The previous email response seems a bit unwelcoming so I don’t know what to say if I email them again. Their message was like, don’t contact us till we write you. Do you have any suggestion on the email content? Thank you.

If the previous email was in June i think it's completely reasonable to follow up.

May I ask when was your MS Teams meeting?what was asked?
