It can take 3-6 weeks for the PR card to be delivered.

If you change your address, make sure you update IRCC so that the PR card can be shipped to your new address. Also, you can subscribe to address forwarding service from Canada Post.

see https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/support/articles/mail-forwarding/overview.page

If I remember correctly the PR card letter cannot be forwarded? Not sure if they changed this rule but previously I brought a PR card for my old roommates to his new address. The envelope reads "do not forward".

You are correct. However, once you update your address, you can have mail forwarding as a safety net.

Most individuals including me, whoever we change our address, mail forwarding is subscribed for a few months so that there is no disruption to the mails coming from institutions where address has not yet been updated.

Hello everyone! I've just found this forum linked from another.
Could someone please give me a little run down of the highlights from this thread over the last few weeks? Bonus if it is relevant to CEC outland.
Thank you wonderful people :)

Hi all, Anyone with their primary office as Halifax, Nova Scotia? How is the processing going so far? Thanks

@legalfalcon , Hi, legalfalcon, to your knowledge, are there many cases in my similar situation? AOR in June 2020, all stages completed in end of 2020 while nothing progressed since then, please advise, suffered a lot. thank you

@legalfalcon, I did the virtual landing over a month ago, and since then nothing has been updated, No PR Portal email. When I called IRCC they told me the information they have on their end says I am not in Canada whereas, the agent and subsequent agents I have been speaking with confirmed that they could see my response to the Virtual Landing email stating that I am In-Canada. but there is nothing they can do from their end. I have raised webform several times stating my information clearly to IRCC again, but they seem not to be working on my profile. I have involved my MP, yet no response.

What would you advise that I should do?

There are many many such cases and you are not the only one.

This is the case for many. YOu will have to keep following up with IRCC. Unfortunately, there is no way to expedite the process. Many applications have been lingering where no one has toughed them.

Same here, 2020 June inland CEC, no dependent, and still waiting. I have to apply PGWP extension which took they 4 months to approve + deliver (c.f. 3 weeks in the past). I'm speechless now as there are no feedback, none, nothing. Whenever I contact them they say just wait due to COVID + Afghanistan refugee overloads bla bla bla...

Hi @legalfalcon,
Question: I just realized I forgot to mention an addres in my address history where I lived for about 2.5 months. I lived in the USA for about 9 months (Address1 for 6.5 months, City A and Address2 for 2.5 months,City A, basically same City, State and Country). But in my application, I only mentioned the one address (Address1) for the entire duration. Should I update about this to IRCC about the Address2 which I missed to provide?

TIA
