@legalfalcon Good day,

I am having an AOR of June 01 and CEC Inland, I ordered my GCMS notes and can see Counterfoil as Yes. Is it something by default or they have by mistake put my application in outland category.

I was just concerned about this and wanted to be sure if this is something normal

Counterfoil simply means that you need a Visa to enter Canada.

See page 2 and if your application is approved (Final)

If approved, you can check if a COPR has been issued?

The Application is still stuck in Criminality In Progress.

The GCMS notes says CounterFoil Required Yes. If I am an InLand why does it says so, I am a bit concerned. Does it only refers if my country of residence requires VISA and it has nothing to do with my application. I am an Indian citizen.

If you are not from a visa exempt country, it will say yes, which is based on your country of citizenship.

Already most of us at 9-10 months of waiting VA or more . So, another Ontario lockdown will delay further?? How much longerrrr

Hi @legalfalcon
I am all stages passed since Jan 23 but as per agent IRCC wasn’t able to do my landing due to invalid status. Yesterday I got my approval for Work Permit extension putting me back in status. Any idea how long the process might take from here and what would it entail?
The agent I called today said the file is in Ottawa..

Any insight is appreciated:) Tia

If your PR application was stalled because you were not in status, then you should send a webform to IRCC and provide the details and documents of the restoration of your status as well as attached the work permit etc.

Also in the same letter request that a decision on your PR application be made. Usually after this it is a quick turn around, but due to staffing issues, it may take a few weeks.

Hi All,

I saw a ghost update on my profile this evening. Checked my application and it is approved! I see my COPR number in the profile however I haven't received an email about the approval/COPR letter. Hoping to receive it soon.
My CEC Inland Timeline:
AOR: June 17
Medicals Passed: August 6th, 2020
Biometrics: October 27, 2020
Background Check: February 7th, 2020
Final Decision: April 7th, 2020
Haven't ordered any GCMS during the process. However, I have seen about 4-5 ghost updates till the approval. Updated my new passport number over the web form.

Thank you all for the support during this process. I wish you all good luck. Yours is next!
