I just got an email from my original request for GCMS:

We have received a communication from CBSA in response to your Access to Information request filed with them.

CBSA has communicated that they need an extension of 60 days, beyond the 30 day mandate under the Access to Information Act to comply with the request.

Is anyone else experiencing the same ?

Hey everyone,

I have applied for (Restoration of Status + Open Work Permit under new Public Policy for PGWP extension) and even though my application is all passed, they cannot issue my COPR cz I don’t have a ‘valid’ status in Canada right now. Is anyone of you in the same boat with PGWP extension?? AND/OR do you know about the processing times of PGWP extension with restoration??
Please let me know and @legalfalcon, I will truly appreciate any insight from you as well.

Thank you all

You will have to wait until your status os restored. The processing time liens are all over the place, and what the IRCC website says are not always true.

I haven’t had any issues but it happens sometimes When the CBSA is still working on your file, they can seek extension for 30, 60, or 90 days.
