I saw ghost update in my application
Status - "Application/profile updated"
no email or account msg

AOR-June 27,2020
Biometrics - Nov 04,2020
submitted additional document -Oct 28,2020 (After 4 months today its showing Not Applicable)

should I expect good news?

They are super slow on applications from May and June from 1-10th , not even moving. At first it took 3 months to pass my security after criminality. My file passed all stages in mid jan, nothing heard yet. So even if u passed all stages after 8 month of waiting u still wait another couple to get copr. What a disappointmentttt...

I have noticed less people are declaring getting PR's this week comparing with the first two weeks of February. guys who are receiving PR's, please keep us updated, so we can have hope.

According to this link , it shows that they are now processing files submitted in August.. what about May and June applications??

They are saying since the last update on the 19th January 2021 that they (start) to process August applications. Will they get PR in time? I don't think so. August applicants are already passed the 6 months processing time. More and more applications are queuing up making the backlog bigger and bigger without any near future solution.

Can someone help me out here?
I am currently in India waiting for my PR from last 8 months. I have currently no TRV to travel to Canada. I am thinking about applying for a visitor visa based on exemption to reunite with extended family member. Now, say if they approve the visa and i can travel to Canada while my PR is not approved yet. Do i then need to contact IRCC to update my country of residence to Canada so they can may be process my application if i am already in Canada or your country of residence remains your home country if you r on a travel visa?

You can possibly come to Canada, it will cost you 2000$ just for three nights in the hotel in addition to your flight expenses. Now when you arrive, you can call IRCC and update your address to be in Canada. After that, you will join the thousands of Inland applicants who still waiting for PR for periods of 9 months and more. So, is it worth it?

That should be in sequence, so the assumption is that anything before august has started processing. I’m just sceptical about what this means. Quite a few August AORs have been fully approved months ago. Very confusing..
