Hi Guys!

I just logged in in my account (as usual). and in the first page (where you see all your applications) For the PR, the usual CURRENT STATUS I see is SUBMITTED, but this morning says : APPLICATION/PROFILE UPDATED. I was SO EXCITED!, but I did not see any changes, no updates, no email, nothing . Last time I called (December 29) there was nothing new beside my medical passed and Bio completed.

Anybody else with the same experience? What did you do? or What happened after?

Well that's an update, so it's good news.
You can call them and ask what exactly it is.

Congratulations to those who got approved.
It looks like those of us who still haven't got approved are quickly becoming a minority. Fellow in-progress applicants, how do you keep happy in these times? If you are in Canada, like me, every day is harder than the day before given any long term planning really depends on this application.

Yeah!! I think the same as we are moving into a minority group. Its hard to past each day without knowing of what the future holds or cant make a decision as everything depends on this damn application lol!!

Same situation here. AOR June 18, all stages passed since early December / late November as per agent on the phone. The only last step - the final decision.

Good news! I finally sailed the boat and received CoPR for all the applicants in my application. The application was finalized on Jan 12, 2021.

I would like to share my sincere thanks to everyone here for providing a ray of hope and valuable suggestions for nearly 7 months. I am sending lots of wishes to everyone here for receiving the good news very soon

I am posting my application details and timelines as follows and I will be more than happy to answer any queries you may have :

Category - CEC Inland
Location - Toronto, Ontario
Applicants: PA + 2 dependents all inland
Travel history : Canada and home country
Biometric Exempt : NO
VO : Primary-Ottawa, Secondary : CIO, LVO : Etobicoke

AoR : June 21, 2020
R10 + MEP (Passed) : August 12
BIL : August 12, Biometric submitted and updated on the portal same day i.e. October 09 - 1 day
Eligibility(Recommended Passed) : August 24, Passed by an Officer : Nov, 26
Criminality : Started Mid August and completed by Mid November - 3 months
Security : It was not started until end of October, but it was complete by Nov end. 1 month
All stages passed and Approved : Nov, 26 (5 months from AoR)
Final Approval : Jan 12, 2021 updated on MyCIC portal (Nearly 7 months)
CoPR : Jan 12, 2021

So basically when the officer conclusively passes eligibility all stages are approved on that day or a few days later. And we just have to wait for COPR.
Based on your timeline he waited for criminality to be passed by RCMP and the security screening before he approved eligibility.

It looks like the “wait for COPR” stage is the most mysterious part of the process. I have been waiting since early December and a lot of people on the forum are at this stage for months

Thank you! I called them! The agent told me that this morning the officer left a note saying that everything is passed. She told me that I have to wait for a letter (by email)....
But she also told me that the final desicion is made once we recieved the letter?

My eligibility passed conclusively by end of October and Criminality passed in Nov but the security just started on Dec 23 based on information I get in my last call. So I believe security and criminality check has nothing to do with eligibility's conclusive pass. I believe they are being reviewed by different officers. And each has its own queue. They are people in this forum that completed security but the criminality is in progress. So, it is completely random and based on luck (I guess I shouldn't participate in any lottery draw ).

That is known as "Ghost update" by IRCC customers, give it a day or sth and then call them to see what is the new update on your file. If none, call them a week later.
