RPRF request would mean that your Eligibility is atleast marked as recommended pass, and you are right; the only update you'd get on your account after Bio complete is when your application gets approved.

Hey guys, I need your insights here please. So I re-applied for my PR through a lawyer on June 17th (1st one was refused cos of wrong NOC), Medical passed on Aug 5th, Biometrics exempt (completed Oct 17th), RPRF request-Oct 29th, paid Nov 2nd). Background check and eligibility in progress and progress bar already at 91%. 1). What do all these mean?
2). I asked my lawyer to apply for GCMS notes and he says it will cost an additional $500 before tax to apply and for him to review it (note that gcms notes is free). Has anyone gone through such before?
3). In the retainer agreement with the lawyer, there is somewhere that says I cant contact IRCC for any reason, except through them (the lawyers). Has anyone experienced such before? iF i call, will that harm my application in any way?

Can you not apply for GCMS yourself? You will NOT be contacting IRCC technically. I'm assuming you are in Canada.
how could it be wrong NOC? Did you not use the same NOC under which you were granted initial work permit, were you ICT or PGWP?
Yes I am in Canada. I am not sure about applying it by myself as IRCC already knows that he is representing me
I am in a similar situation. I also paid my RPRF on Nov 02. I have yet not received any ghost updates or any other updates. I hope we get our COPR this week!
I submitted my biometrics on nov 22nd. Estimation completion date for my application is Dec 24th but i did not hear anything yet. Aor june 24th. Any idea how long after biometrics it takes?
Also, i applied from India but applied under CEC because i spent last 5 years in Canada and then came back just before lockdown. What is the process of travelling back after CoPR? Will i have to apply for a travel document or would they provide me permanent residence visa along with CoPR?

Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, IRCC has had to stop in-person services to protect the health and safety of clients and employees. The Department has come up with innovative ways to conduct business. Confirming permanent residence (PR) status without an in-person interview through a new and secure PR Confirmation Portal is one of these new improvements we are happy to offer you.
Through the PR Confirmation Portal:
· You will confirm you currently live in Canada
· You will provide your current address in Canada (we’ll send your permanent resident card in the mail to this address)
· You will submit a recent photo (JPEG or PNG formats are accepted) which we’ll use to print your PR card
· IRCC will upload your document that proves your new PR status you will be able to use this document while you wait for your first PR card that will come to you in the mail

Since mine will be 100% tomorrow I called the Customer service for the first time and got connected within minutes . They say as my eligibility passed , background in process ( it’s been in process for more than 3 months now) and security not started .
I think I will get the good news only by next year
