Hi guys, I just got a question about the passport...

I applied study permit and it is valid from January to July 17 2020, then I renewed it on May 22 to the Nov 30 2020, but I didnt renew the Temporary Resident Visa (the sticker in the passport)... My AOR is June 26. If I dont plan to renew the temporaray resident visa, does it matter when I receive COPR and was required to send passport to visa office? Will the office reject my application ? Any response would be much appreciated!

As far as I know, TRV is just for travel purposes only. I don't think it won't effect your COPR as long as you are residenting in Canada.

Hi @legalfalcon

Just received 2nd GCMS notes generated 23rd October Status - AOR 22nd June (PNP-Outland) :
Medical : Passed
Security : Not started
Elegibility : Passed (by officer as mentioned in notes)
Criminality : passed
Info Sharing : Completed

It came to my Attention Two things different from the first notes:

1- Application & Activity Sections not released and instead it is mentioned (Pages are not relevant) and before that mentioned out of scope

2-In Association Section "ORGANIZATIONS & ENTITIES" anew note added

ORGANIZATIONS & ENTITIES: 2
Created Date:
Updated Date:
Name: CN COVID PACE
Other Sub Type Descrip: Pending Findec
Reason: Other
Other Reason Description: Pending Findec
Effective Date: 2020/10/06 (Officer eligibility review Date)

Does that means that my application will be on hold due to COVID

Appreciate your response

It's just pending final decision. Congratulations.

Just called agent today and received some updates for my application.

AOR 16nd June (CEC-Inland) :
1. Eligibility : Passed
2. Background Check has a few steps, in which
  • Medical: Passed
  • Security: Passed
  • Rest of background check is still in progress.
Haven't received biometrics call for appointment yet (I live in downtown Toronto).

Any idea when is the estimated COPR date?
Thank you in advance.

Good luck everyone ! :p

I’m assuming you’re not biometrics exempt? You need to get that done before criminality is passed.

A lot of applicants are getting "out of scope" and as per the forum, it seems that it is a technical glitch. You can contact IRCC and ask them to release the entire file.

ORGANIZATIONS & ENTITIES: 2
Created Date:
Updated Date:
Name: CN COVID PACE - this is the group where your application is and is pending due to COVID
Other Sub Type Descrip: Pending Findec Pending Final Decision
Reason: Other
Other Reason Description: Pending Findec
Effective Date: 2020/10/06 (Officer eligibility review Date)

You seems like everything in your application is done except the final decision.

TIA for your kind and prompt responses.

I am in the same situation, eagerly waiting, but no update yet! Guys, please advise how long does it take for copr after rprf?
