Even mine is in similar status
AOR: June 19, 2020
Medical: Passed August 15, 2020
Biometric: Completed on Oct 15, 2020 (Seems like my wife exempted even though she did not provide Biometric earlier)

Not sure what could be the timeline and what would be the process for us. :-)
Same for me, however I think you will still have to wait for a call for your wife. Mine shows completed Oct 13 even though my son got BIL letter and has not been called by SC for his bio. I got to know from an agent that I cannot pass background check until his bio is in. The officer already put a note there.

Pheewww.. In that case, our application will be in process right?. not paused / held. Only final decision will be made after BGC.

I have a feeling it's held. They'll process all they can- Eligibility and possibly security and that's it. Sad eh.

congrats!! Did you get ghost updates?
Thanks! We did, in the morning of the COPR, which was in the afternoon. We found the application was showing as updated instead of submitted. That was probably changes on Friday when the Background check was approved.

Eligibility : Passed
Security: Not-started
Criminality: In-progress since mid of Sept.
@legalfalcon, could you please explain why the criminality is taking so long to process?

Called ircc. June 2nd AOR. Cec inland. Eligibility recommended passed. Criminality in progress. Security not started. Ottawa. Bio exempted and marked completed on 15th Oct.

No change since last 2 weeks or no ghost updates. Waiting for gcms requested since Oct 1st.

Will the officer take a look only after criminality completes? Can someone point me to a reference of what happens in criminality check please?

Criminality is basically just verifying your biometrics and checking your police certs. Shouldn't take long once they start it. Looks like we're on the same boat whereby eligibility is stuck on rec passed, pending an officer's approval before security can start.

The criminality can be in progress for two reasons, biometrics or PCC pending.

After the biometrics are provided, they have to be update don the profile and have to be run through the system to look for any matches.

Hi guys,

I'm a CEC inland candidate and got the COPR on Oct 28. I can see the document number in my profile but haven't got an official copr email yet.
I called IRCC today, an agent told me I don't need to do anything because they have my digital photo in the system, and will send me my PR card.
However, in this forum, I saw other people mentioned they received an official email recently and need to mail photos to a visa office physically.

So what are the latest steps during the covid-19 for inland EE applicants after COPR?
Please share your info and discuss if we are in a similar situation.

I also posted a thread for this.
