When did you apply for GCMS notes and when did you receive the notes? Just trying to understand the timeline for processing GCMS these days.

Thanks in advance.
Hi Agent47s
Applied on Sep 10 and received exactly on day 30th..so you should receive also soon

If you only see a note by a case analyst then your eligibility is only recommended passed. Only after your eligibility is passed conclusively by an officer, will the security start.
Dear @legalfalcon really appreciate your kind input. So it seems like Analyst can put also Passed also rather than recommended pass/met...

Hi @legalfalcon & @caipsnotes ,

The call center told me my eligibility was passed on 4th Sep.

I requested GCMS notes on 1st Sep.

Does that mean that the officer passed it on 4th Sep, just before generating GCMS notes?

I haven't received the notes yet, but I just want to confirm this, because if the information in the GCMS notes does not include this latest update, I have to order it again, just to be double sure that it's conclusively passed.

Just got a biometrics appointment call. Scheduled for tommorow (Oct 14 @10:45 am) in Sudbury Ontario.
AOR- June 24th, 2020
BIL- August 14th, 2020

@legalfalcon Good Day,

I am AOR 16 Jan, added spouse in May after eligibility was passed. Her medicals was also passed in June which i saw from my GCMS notes. I have not gotten her BIL yet since June and VACs in my country has been opened for months. What could be the problem?? Does it take this long to get BIL request after the addition of a spouse.

Thank you

If you spouse has ever given biometrics before for a Canadian visa, then she is exempt form biometrics.

When the call centre says that your eligibility was passed, they can be referring to eligibility recommended passed or conclusively passed by an officer.

To see hoe your notes should look like see my previous post at #2,521

The exact date and notes will be there in your GCMS. Just wait form them to be released and you will have all the inepth details.

Yes, that is why reading the notes and the context is very important.

Hi @legalfalcon

As per the GCMS notes:

Eligibility : Passed
Security : Not Started
Criminality: In Progress

Note 1 (latest) says : PReVU Verified (applicant information)

Note 2 is by Case Processing Agent.

What does this mean?

On 10.13 received unknown number from IRCC to confirm that I’m in Canada and the first/last entry date to Canada. And after that lady says the COPR should arrive within two weeks. This is fast!

For my detailed timeline you can check my post history.

Edit: Just checked my CIC account and my final decision was approved!
