This thread is so quite lately. Congrats to those who made it and wish you good luck including myself to the ones who are still waiting. I hope this wait ends soon.
Hi All,
It is my first post. Thanks @legalfalcon and everyone for sharing helpful information.
I just got my COPR so I would like to share my timeline and hope that it would be helpful for some of you to some degrees.
CEC Inland, single applicant, 1 college, 1 job, have stayed in Canada since came here. My application should be considered simple.
AOE: June 15
Medical: August 10
Eligibility: October 7 (could be earlier, not really sure about this one)
Background and Security Check: October 10
Approved based on GCMS note: October 13
Approved on account: April 27, 2021
COPR arrived in Email: April 30, 2021
Primary Office: Ottawa
Secondary Office: Etobicoke
I was also in CN COPVID PACE group. No one calls me to confirm my info.
My file has not been touch from Oct to April. It took 6 months to print and email COPR. If you are in a similar situation, I hope your application will be approved soon.
I will be active in this thread for a week in case if you have any questions.
Best.
Thank you! You’re always giving us hope.It does not matter what address your PCC have and where you currently live.
I had an exactly same problem. Someone told me the solution for it. I tried 13 times with different combinations (like upper letter, put town name, city name... or something) which took almost 3 days(5 times a day)...I didn't have city/town name on my COPR, so I found it from my gcms notes. I guess the place of birth (city/town name) is the most common problem?Hi all,
I received my COPR letter yesterday and sent it to Etobicoke office already for the PR cards. I appreciate all of your support during frustrated time, especially thanks to @legalfalcon and @caipsnotes for all your answers.
PS: I tried to link PR card to my application online but it wasn't found when I entered all information. I used UCI and Family name. Anyone know how to do it? Any input would appreciate.
YEs, you can create a new profile.Hello @legalfalcon
Hoping you could advise on the following situation. I received my GCMS notes and eligibility is in review because my score has fallen. Officer was unable to verify my years of experience. My job letter stated that I've been working full-time since 2017 but it didn't state the exact amount of hours. Is there any way to clarify this with IRCC? Also since there is a chance of my application being denied can I enter the pool before a decision is made? Thank you.
You can create a GC key and link your application to your new account.Hello again!
I received a correspondent letter and they are asking me to open my gc key to be able to read the letter. Unfortunately, I don't have the code of my gc key. It is with my representative. My question is: does anybody here do know what is the usual content of a correspondence letter? Pls enlighten me @legalfalcon cos I don't know if I need to get excited or not. Thank you.
Thank you!YEs, you can create a new profile.
For your existing application, you can submit a revised letter and explain it in LoE.

Is this legal? I'm worried that I might be sued by my representative. Will they be able to find out if I make my own gc key without their knowledge? Thank you as always! You can create a GC key and link your application to your new account.
