Still waiting (approved in Nov. 2020, but no COPR.) I actually am back in Canada now on an authorization letter, so hopefully can get myself out of the "CPCO COVID RFV" group.

These days they seem to (conclusively) pass eligibility on the date of CoPR, or shortly before. Gives hope to those still stuck on recommended pass.

Hi everyone,

I am a CEC Inland Applicant. My application (for my wife and I) just got approved today (AOR: 16 June 2020) and I got issued the COPRs. However, I am not in Canada. My situation is a little complicated as my medical expires on 29 April 2021 and the validity of the document on CIC website states 29 April 2021 (Date of my medical expiry). We both have valid work permits till 30 May 2021. I have these two concerns:
1. After COPR, do our work visas + work permits get revoked or can we still travel back on our work visas?
2. Since the landing procedure has changed totally, can we still go back after 29 April 2021 before our work visas expire?

I would be grateful for any help from fellow members and best of luck to all applicants who are still awaiting decision!

Thanks

1. If you were issued COPRs, which are send by email for inland applicants and are stamped and signed, i.e. effective that date your become a PR, then all your visas and permits are revoked since you are a PR and no longer need a visa to work in Canda.

2. If you have been issued a signed cOPR, you will need a PRTD to travel back to Canada.

I contacted my MP and my MP contacted IRCC only to find out my criminality still in progress and my security not even started.
On April 1st, however, reassessment has been given for my expired medical and extended till Apr 2022.
I just want to know why my criminality still in progress and my security not even started.
What makes mine take this long?

Your application is with the Ottawa office which is known for currently being the slowest office for processing applications. There's lots of other people with applications from June 2020 that are still waiting, so I wouldn't worry too much about there being something wrong with your application. Your waiting time is still in line with many other people's. Hopefully we get some movement on this soon.
