Hi Guyz,
It says Decision Made in the sponsor log in ECAS but in the PA profile it still says IN Process. Sponsor has not received the SA email yet and nothing on the GC key either. what does that Decision Made mean then? Medical has received today and passed on the GC key though. No SA yet on GC key too. Thank you for the insight.

Pretty sure SA doesn't show up on GCKey. It took my sponsor about a day from when I saw the DM on his side of ECAS to when he got the official email. There could be a delay in the emailing because of the long weekend, but have the sponsor check their junk mail/spam folder just in case

But there is a column fro sponsor approval in GC Key? no?

Yes,

Yours is way ahead of ours. PA was in US when submitted the outland application.
PA in Canada now.

We have

June 11th Receive
July 31st AOR (never received AOR, called IRCC to confirm)
August 26th MR
August 26th BR
August 28th Medical Done, waiting for it upload
August 30th SA, dont know the VO yet(never received SA called IRCC to confirm)
September 13th Biometrics appointment

My concern is the medical. My hubby has had some major surgeries the past few years. I know the excessive demand is waved for spouses but If they fail that portion of the medical will it delay us.
This is really stressing me out I have to admit. The medical is next friday. The only doctor in Arizona that does it was out of town on vacation. He called us from California to book his appt in. The biometrics we couldn't get an appt until the 13th.
I'm going to be a basketcase this month lol

So as I've come to understand it, your application is linked to your GCKey using YOUR (the applicant's) information because it's about YOUR application for permanent residence. So all of those headings you see in GCKey for your application are related to you, not your sponsor.

I still haven't received a DM on my side of the application, so no PPR yet. But SA is an early step for most people. Has your application been transferred to a VO yet? Since your medical is complete (and I'm assuming biometrics too) that should be the next step.

From what I've seen, they shouldn't outright fail you, but they could ask you to complete extra tests. However, with the excessive demand portion being waived for spouses, I would assume they would only fail the medical if your husband has some kind of contagious disease (like TB, hence the chest xray). Try not to stress too much!

That means Decision Made on Sponsor side is the Sponsor approval ?

Gckey is all PA. The eligibility referenced here refers to the category you applied under and BGC. So PA is eligible if not deemed a threat to Canada and enough evidence was provided to convince them that your relationship is genuine.

Thanks. It's been a rough year I lost my mom 8 months ago and have no family left. This means so much and I am a worrier by nature. He has no contagious diseases though lol.
Would you know, once the COPR is approved is that the final approval and it's ok for the spouse to move?

Just a delay. Sponsor will get that email soon.

Totally get it, I'm also a worrier. Yes, COPR is your final clearance for your husband to land in Canada and officially move

Guys in e-cas my profile is showing as follow:

We received the application for permanent residence on June 14, 2019.
We started processing the application on August 30, 2019.
We sent medical instructions on August 13, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Medical results have been received.

Earlier the second line was not there although it showed in progress previously as well. Medicals were also cleared on 22 Aug, then why is it showing that they have started processing the application on 30 Aug.
It’s your Aor 2, means your file has been transferred and they already start working on your principal applicants side.
Probably it is Mississauga? Or your local visa office.

It goes to your sponsor via the email or mailing address they gave in the application, SA doesnt go through GCKey
