Hi Cass59, you finally got SA. I'm happy for you, your Medical request has came. Have sponsor Sponsored someone before? I'm just curious I'm waiting SA more than 2 weeks No DM Ecas for the Sponsorship. I'm started to have anxiety about the SA.

hi there! thank you so much don’t stress! i was really stressed also because everyone was ahead of me, but i think it really just depends on who opens your file! my SA took almost 4 weeks to come! then everything suddenly came at once i think everyone’s application differs and although i was stressed over the past few weeks, i can truly say i have confidence yours is coming! and no i haven’t sponsored anyone before !

That's weird. I have never seen something like that. since you have previous application number your Biometric letter, Will you still be able to do Bio?

I'm hoping so. The part of the biometric letter that is for use by the collector doesn't have the application number, just an IRCC number. I'll be taking all the paperwork with me that I have that has my name, UCI, and old and new application numbers on it in case they do need that.

My husband thinks it's because we initially applied as Inland, but it got returned for being incomplete, and when we resubmitted we sent it to Sydney by mistake and it's now processing as Outland, so it needed an application number that matched it's type. I'm not sure if that's the case but we'll see!

Hubby received email for Biometrics today Aug 22.
So happy this is finally moving along.
Hubby is in the Phoenix and I'm in Vancouver. It's a long way away.
Hoping the SA will be approved soon.

For those of you who've gotten to the "decision made" step - did they send you an email to confirm the decision has been made? Or did you find out from checking gckey? I've been checking 5 times a day since we passed the medical a week and a half ago.

I have not got any email yet. But I checked Ecas and it is showing Decision Made where yesterday it was In Process.
