Hello Everyone,

Good Morning to all. Glad to see most of the members got PPR request and processing is good for almost all members.

Members who received passport or who have an idea, please clarify my question.

My wife submitted passport today in chennai, India VFS office. How long it will take to receive with stamping and COPR. As I booked the ticket on Sep 18, 2019. Through which way VFS will post the passport Airway or Railway to New Delhi? When we ask at VFS they said 12 to 15 days.

Application Received - June 13, 2019
AOR - August 1, 2019
SA - August 12, 2019
Bio-metrics Request - August 9, 2019
Medical Request - August 12, 2019
Bio-metrics Passed - August 14, 2019
Medical Passed - August 24, 2019
Decision Made - September 4, 2019
PPR Request - September 6, 2019

I am really concerned whether we receive the Passport by 17 September, 2019. I have 6 business days and 8 days including weekends. Is this enough? Hope someone who have an idea will answer my question.

My wife submitted her passport on September 3rd at hyderabad VFS but nothing received so far. We've opted for delivery to local address via bluedart. So maybe your passport would make it but Just in time.

As per tracker the Avg time is 7 days. Do you know where it went to Bangalore or New Delhi? Did you checked in tracker? Any update in tracker?

It went to new delhi as per tracker and vfs tracking shows under process ever since.

Cool. Please keep me posted bro, I am really worried now. The only reason I booked ticket is my birthday is on 20th Sep so thought at-least she will be here before my birthday. Hope for the best again.

Do you know which way they use, Airway or Railway to transfer the passport. I guess the blue dart have separate flight for the courier service? I know its too much but good to know. You submitted in Sep 3rd and when it reached New Delhi? By this we can guess which way they use for transfers.

I think it reached delhi the very next day so i am pretty sure they use airway. But yea sure, i'll keep you posted with when i see any updates from VFS on our file. Good luck to you. I hope your wife makes here before your birthday.

How to link account to GCKey
(1) Go to this below listed link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html
(2) Click on continue to Gckey
(3) If You've already account created, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category and subcategory that you applied for.
(6) Then select Application Number and Family name
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form. PUT YOUR FAMILY NAME IS THIS FORMAT - Smith (ensuring the first letter is capitalized). Then fill in Application number.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH, DO NOT FILL IN ANY PASSPORT INFORMATION. AGAIN WRITE ON THE SAME FORMAT (CAPITALISED FIRST LETTER OF YOUR CITY).
(9) Select Province and town you intend to live in (as on your IMM0008) and select current marital Status.
(10) Finally select 2 as the number of family members.
(11) Once you fill all information, Click on Search for my application
(12) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(13) You can get real time updates on your paper application online.

I am a June applicant as well. They sent my husband to do biometrics and police certificate. We are waiting the request for medical exam only. Do you know how long it might take to get the request to do the medical. My husband lives in Haiti. Thank you

You won't have access to GCKEY if you have a rep. I have only checked ECAS. My husband and I only had access to it.

It would be a tough call but lets hope you get it. According to tracker people from PPR on 20th August are still waiting for passport. And some from 25th-29th August and still haven't received it.
Some lucky ones have received in 10 days or less .

Lets hope we get it soon. I submitted on 3rd to VFS as well.

An affidavit has submitted. But still they asking birth certificate.
