Hi everyone, just seeking some clarification on the Biometrics Passed section for the spreadsheet - how do we know if it's passed?
On your Gckey account it will show the biometric enrolment number and enrolling date along with expiry date if everything went well. That’s how you know itHi everyone, just seeking some clarification on the Biometrics Passed section for the spreadsheet - how do we know if it's passed?
Ok, that's fine then, thanks for clarifying! On your Gckey account it will show the biometric enrolment number and enrolling date along with expiry date if everything went well. That’s how you know it
Yes it is. Congrats! AOR and SA is received through the sponsor’s email, whilst all the other requests such as for medical and biometrics are received by the PA.As a sponsor, I have received my first e-mail with an application number and UCI number. My wife has not received any e-mail yet. Here is an excerpt of the message:
This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2019/06/26 on behalf of the following member(s):
Is this considered an AOR? They said they still have to review the application and check that I haven't left anything blank.
Thank you!
For some reason, my wife has not received the biometrics request to her e-mail, I did because the application is linked to my GCKey. Is this normal? Shouldn't she have received something?Yes it is. Yes, if you have a GCKey account, all communication will be sent there. For some reason, my wife has not received the biometrics request to her e-mail, I did because the application is linked to my GCKey. Is this normal? Shouldn't she have received something?
1. You, the sponsor will receive itHi,
I am Sponsor and I have received AOR1. Please explain me
1. Who will receive email for SA?
2. Who will receive email for Biometrics and Medical?
Oh OK. Thanks for the responseReceived an email this morning saying that our file was transferred to pretoria processing office.
Check your eCAS profile and see if further updates are thereHi guys, It has been two weeks since I receive Aor and still no SA started to worry me is there any chance they forget to send one ?
Mine took 63 days.Hi everyone,
My application was received on 27 June.
I haven't got any email for my application number yet. Does anyone know how much more time it can take to get AOR.
Regards,
Rouble
You are not alone in this. I look forward to seeing updates on my profile, especially receiving the medical request but it appears the officer handling my file has embarked on a vacationHow do you guys deal with the stress of this application's process? I spend way too much time every day looking at the progress of my application, comparing it with others which I know to be unwise, wondering if every hiccup is because something went wrong.
Looking at the tracker, I expected the medical request to come in today-ish and it hasn't. It could easily be tomorrow, or the day after I guess. or even later. But if it doesn't happen in the next few days I'll start to worry and there's nothing I can do because it's most likely "normal". Drives me absolutely nuts.
I think this is a more recent occurrence. You could always just place a comment onto the spreadsheet and notify the admin about your situation. Maybe they'll make adjustments for it.I got an update today, my application was moved to Mississauga last 2nd of Aug and now moved again to Manila office 20th Aug, maybe we must add additional row for the comment on the tracker, or is this a seldom case?
