We mentioned in our application to process our applications all together. Every thing went together but for the finger prints only 3 of us got the request and other 2 didn’t get the request. What do u guys think i should call them and ask or i should wait for the other 2 requests

Finger prints on not mandatory for every applicant, they would request the finger print to cross check certain findings during the back ground check. IF they have not requested the finger prints for the other 2 family members means they dont need it. I am assuming they will still process all the applications together

congrats! glad to see they are still sending out test invites before the holidays!!
Haha thanks. I was kinda surprised actually to receive the invite this soon, because my wife received a fingerprint request last month, I thought it’s gonna delay the process a bit, but it seems like Scarborough office is pretty efficient lol.

Just received citizenship test invite on Jan 7. Please update the spreadsheet.

Hi Please update my status in the spreadsheet

Invite for Citizenship test- January 20, 2020
Received the letter/notice for it today 12/19/2019

Thanks and goodluck to me. What mock test online are accurate out there?

I had my test and Interview yesterday at Scarborough, Toronto @ 4.00 pm. It was pretty seamless process..the test was easy it all depends on what version of booklet you would get for test. The one which I got was definitely not straight forward questions to answer them you needed reading and understanding of the "Discovery Canada", where as some version of booklets I was told they were simple and straight forward questions so it more matter of luck as to which booklet you will get as they are distributed randomly. Don't freak out at the end of the its an easy exam and once if you read Discovery Canada book and do some mock exams I believe any average person can ace it.

I finished my test in 5 mins and handed over the booklet and waited for another 3 mins to be called for interview, I was called much quicker than I expected. The total interview time was less than 2 mins, as I am self employed consultant the interviewer was more interested in knowing what exactly I do. I was asked to sign one form. She just gave a cursory glance at my physical presence calculator, my visits were to my home country and US mostly on work. She never bothered to check any stamps in passport. Then she informed me my test score 19/20 and said my interview is done and I am ok to leave.

I asked about the oath and she mentioned it could be anywhere 2-3 months from the date of interview.

Status changed to Decision made today morning.
