Hello Everyone,

I have my application almost ready to go but I am confused about one part of the application.

Residence outside of Canada part. It starts with if I lived outside of Canada during my eligibility period but only as a vacation for 2 months. Should I say no to this question? coz nothing in that form applies to me. Do we only say yes if i or my parents or my spouse worked for public service or armed forces?

Please help. Much appreciated.

I think your first question should be NO and that doesn't count, you were just on vacation but concerning the second question i have no idea.

We have to wait to get another email saying that application is now in IP and that's when we can check ECAS status?

You should be able to check ecas the next day after your AOR.
