Anyone still waiting for update from CIC - June 2019 applications?

I sent my application in June 2019. They started processing my application on October 3, 2019.
I AOR received email on 22Aug2019.

but no update then after.

any suggestion what can I do ? any one in similar situation?

I am in the same situation as you. I heard CIC is starting with new online citizenship tests in Jan 2021. So we should wait until that rolls out. Hope this helps !

In the exact same situation. Hopefully with IRCC introducing online citizenship tests, the processes will speed up.

Wondering if anyone has received an invite to do the online test? In particular, those who had their scheduled tests cancelled in March / April.

There seems to be contradicting info all over the forum and other social media outlets.

Some claim they’d been in touch with IRCC to hear that the online test had indeed started.. but only a small, random group of people were invited.

I came across a couple of individuals who were invited on Dec 1st, though they never had a scheduled test cancelled at the first place.

Other people on this forum seem to think that online test is starting in Jan 2021. Not sure where they got the info from.

Unfortunately this confusion happens when IRCC doesn’t provide exact info and clarity on their website.

I got an email 2 days ago for another fingerprint. They requested for one previously which I submitted in November 2019. I was scheduled for oat taking ceremony before the lockdown, of course it was cancelled. I'm surprised they are requesting for another finger print. Please anybody in this same situation? Is it necessary to call them and get clarification?

The place I had them done says they send them off for me and I've heard nothing from nobody since. I hate this waiting game; is there no way to determine if the fingerprinting place actually sent the records like they said? Is there no way to determine what the current status is beyond "In Progress?" Have I missed something? It's enough to drive someone insane.

Hi, I am also the same situation like you. I did fingerprint on 01st Nov 2019. I called on mid of Jan 2020 to CIC, they confirmed that they have received the Fingerprint evaluation, but they wont update anything in online status.

Mine also still In-Progress status..

My wife is June 2019 applicant, fingerprints asked in Oct 2019,submitted and then received and completed test in January 2020 but after test no updates.

Only waiting for oath I believe but still no avail.

Hi guys, I've got a question regarding the additional documents that IRCC might ask you to provide before/after the online test:

1. For the passport, from what I have read, they want all pages (even blank ones) of the passport. So , can I scan all 50 pages of my passport with my phone or should I go to the nearest print shop and tell them to scan all pages and email them to me ?
If I scan it by phone , it won't look scan-perfect of course ,as you might be able to see the surrounding.


2. For the provincial health claim summary , I have lived in Alberta on a work permit during before my PR time , it seems like the only way to request an Alberta health claim summary is by snailmail ? You cannot submit an online application ? Has anyone gotten one ?
The ontario one is online I think ?
(Also , I have actually never made any health claim in either AB or ON , despite having held health-cards from both those provinces , will this matter at all ?)

I am on the same boat, did my finger prints in october 2019 and did again in November 2020 after getting their letter stating that finger prints were only good for one year. Most disappointing thing was that they changed my status from Decision made to In progress. My status now is In progress.

Update:
I received an email from IRCC Hamilton today in response to a fax letter I send while ago inquiring about my transfer request.
Unlike the generic response we often get, they're actually very specific and mentioned that when my file granted to move to the next step, I will receive a virtual oath ceremony from Hamilton office.
I'm glad my very specific question has been answered clearly

you can call them and check if they received it, and what are next steps. I did email them and they replied that they have received it and are good, just wait for the test as next step
