After that there has been no update. Medical result is still under review. Its been 5 months. Called CIC twice got the same reply, there is still some time left on the processing period. Has there been a case like mine?

Medical Status updated to 'In Review' on July-16.
Bio-metric Status updated to Completed on July-18.
Raised a web form in Sep last week and got reply on Oct-4 as following.
=> Your application is currently being processed at the CPC in Ottawa, Ontario.
=> The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine the eligibility for you and your family.
=> The security background verification has not started.
=> The criminality verification is completed (Passed).
=> Your Medical examination results on file are valid.
o I believe my Medical status is fine, but somehow my profile has not been touched/ updated since July that's why it's still showing in review.
o I also contacted CIC in July- month end, and agent confirmed that Medicals have been received from panel physician and currently in review.
o Contacted PP also, no further medical request has been initiated by CIC to PP. Nothing is pending at physician end.
I suggest you to contact CIC via phone or web form and ask for application status and I hope your medical status is perfectly fine.
