Hi there,
I need help or rather an advice with regards to the child custody.
I am a divorcee and have a 7 year old kid. Father deserted me when I conceived and the child doesn't know the father.
All the kid documents are on my proofs (surname is with my initial as I had to provide my proofs with the application). Also the child passport has no father's name mentioned as I had no documents of the father (I was taking care of the child all by myself so didn't want to have the father's records). I heard this will not be acceptable and I will be facing lot of issues with child custody. My consultancy people have not briefed me anything on this and even my lawyer who helped me with the divorce said I can just provide the divorce decree and take the child along. I am terribly worried now. Can anyone guide me properly?

My divorce documents says that the child will be with the mother. I have only this document as proof. Also all his certificates hold my initial as father deserted us when the child was 1 year old. So will there be any issue with regards to the surname and the divorce document? Please help.

Hi I have a query regarding PCC.
My husband stayed in Denmark for 2 years. So we applied for a PCC on May 23. On the same day, Denmark Police replied that they will despatch the letter by standard post. It has been more than 6 weeks and the letter hasn't reached yet. We did write to them on this and they just asked us to wait for a few more days.
We again requested them to send one by paid courier services for which we will bear the charges. They accepted to resend the PCC but refused to use paid services, and once again sent it by standard post.
In case this one too does not reach us in time (July 29 is our last date to submit), how should I proceed? Will the email thread be sufficient proof for PCC?
