CIO,Sydney office is just the first step where only Eligibility is reviewed and Processed.After they approve eligibility,application will be passed to a Visa Office for additional review of Eligibility(Medicals,Criminality its all identified at this stage.

This scares me assuming my case is in CIO,Sydney office and just at the first step of review Maybe more months to wait for Sydney Nova Scotia applicants

Sydney is averaging around 250-300(AOR to PPR) days these past few months.

In November Ottawa issued 10 times more PR than Sydney.

All we can do is wait.

Raised a web form on 6th Nov got reply on 13th Nov criminality valid eligibility was getting checked and security not started

Emailed Ralph - 28 Aug (2 months post Aor) asked for Status & Vo - Status Criminality - passed, Eligibility/Security - not started. Vo - Ottawa
Called IRCC - 2 Dec - confirmed my Vo (is still Ottawa), Criminality - passed, Eligibility - Recommended Passed, Security - Not started
1st GU - 6 Dec in profile, nothing changed in my profile including my BG status still as " we are processing'

Same AOR of 28th June, last I checked 15 days back, only criminality had passed. Received a ghost update yesterday profile submitted/updated. Vo- Ottawa, FSW-O. Hope we get good news soon!

More people have recd GU yest, I think they are clearing ppr's in batches, that's for sure. I was all good before GU, but now I'm too anxious, checking my profile and emails like crazy hehe. Hope we get it soon

I just messaged asking about my application status and the visa office and stating specifically I needed information about the criminality eligibility and security . That’s was all they answered all question in depth
