Is there any reason why NDVO applicants are being prioritized? First it was the Filipinos because of the typhoon so I’m just wondering if there’s anything going on that’s making applications go faster?
No idea. But lets just pray the same happens for all other applicants, regardless of their origin!

For me it is all good news :) it could mean that the CPC-S is catching up a good pace and will start processing the applications faster

Two questions: Visa Waiver countries don't need to send in their passport? When we get the request for passport, what do we do? My husband is American.
Also, once the PPR is made, what is the "timeline" till actually able to move to Canada? Will they receive their PR card in the mail? How does this work after all the requests for things are made and they've made the final choice and allow you to move?

You don't need to submit your passport. There will be instructions.

You will get the COPR which will have a date you must land by. It coincides with medical expiry.

The PR card will come automatically once you've landed and takes approximately 60 days although it fluctuates slightly. PR card processing times on CIC site are accurate.

COPR is Confirmation of Permanent Residence, right?
Thank you so much! How long do the medicals usually have before expiration?

Quick question, guys

Who here had their background/eligilibity check started before receiving medical request?

Thank you all :)
