I almost did that... but when we were going through the checklist or somewhere in the guide my wife noticed that I was supposed to sign it by hand too
Still waiting for DHL to confirm that the application was delivered

sorry to say but you need to SIGN with hand as well, i did same thing as you did initially but had one of my friend where his app was sent back due to some reasons and one among them was there was no hand written sign in this form, so i ended up having it signed by hand and send as well for mine. This one form definitely misleads us by saying electronic signature but there was a place in guide it says they need hand written sign on this form.
i hope you dont get it back, rather they ask you as additional docs.
I'm curious. What country is the person whom you are sponsoring from? I am so curious why your AOR1 came so quickly when there are still people from May waiting.

Everyone after March 15 should have been sending their application to Sydney. I noticed that in the trackers many people keep listing Mississauga as their PA office.
IRCC allowed a buffer time to receive applications.
By PA office, I assume you mean VO.
If the applications are straight forward and not complex, most of the time Mississauga deal with the application entirely.
Most of American applicants get their process entirely in Mississauga.
It depends though, there are so many factors that we are unaware of.

I sent the application to Mississauga but it probably got transferred to Sydney as the letter I received came from Sydney.
Got in touch with DHL, package was received on CIC-S on June 27.Hopefully, there won't be issue then
