Did anybody here received transfer email from CPC Sydney to CPC Mississauga and thentransfer again to a local VO??

Hi everyone. I'm not sure about the next update as the application got transferred to PA's home visa office without the medical being received (atleast not on ECAS). Is it normal ?

Hi, I wanted to post an update of our process. We’re doing an Outland application. I am the applicant living in Michigan, US and my spouse/sponsor lives in Ontario. Here is our timeline:

- Application sent: May 7, 2018.
- Application received: May 8, 2018.
- Acknowledgment of receipt: June 7, 2018.
- Medical request: August 17, 2018.
- Medical completed: August 22, 2018.
- Medical received: ECAS says Medical Results Received on August 27, 2018. Still waiting for mail/email confirmation.
- Sponsor Approval: August 31, 2018.

Just looking for some insight as to what we should expect the next step to be. We’ve paid up front and given the passport copy with photos to our lawyer as well. Any information is appreciated! Thanks!

I'm assuming based on your application date that you sent your application to Mississauga. Did you get an email yet telling you that your application would be processed in Mississauga? That would be the next step (AOR2). Simple US applications are usually processed there.

If you have your application linked in GCKey, you will next see background check in process and we are reviewing your eligibility. That is pretty much it if nothing comes up that requires additional documents/explanation, but it was the longest step in the process for us. We didn't hear anything after medical results received until they sent the passport request 6 weeks later. You will not get an email confirming that your medical results were received. It just gets updated in the system. On GCKey, it will say "you passed the medical exam". If you have a lawyer, you probably can't link to GCKey, so you will just have to check with your lawyer for updates. ECAS never had any new info for us after medical results received until it changed to Decision Made. Even now, it doesn't have anything else and I received COPR last week.

1.Have you all changed the spouses name on passport after marriage?
2.Is it better to get Indian PCC for spouse after marriage or before? do they require name change?
3.What are the documents submitted for Proof of Income as I haven't filed tax yet as I landed in Canada 6 months ago.
4,Do we have to submit original marriage certificate or photocopy?
I am new to this and preparing for the application,sponsoring wife from India. Please reply.Thanks

2.Is it better to get Indian PCC for spouse after marriage or before? do they require name change? They need the latest PCC i recommend to have it after marriage but thats just my thought
3.What are the documents submitted for Proof of Income as I haven't filed tax yet as I landed in Canada 6 months ago. In that case if you are employed submit your latest pay slips wwith a letter of explanation that why you dont have Notice of assessment

Guys,, I really need some advice !!
I was just going thru the copies of my forms that my lawyer gave to me !!

I just noticed that in my (sponsor) employment history for past 5 years she missed the information for one employer !!

Instead of putting 2014 - 2016 (XYZ) employer, 2016 - present -(YYZ) employer , she just put 2014 to present (YYZ) .,,,, wat should we do now

We already received SA and done with medical and bgc started already!! Plz advice

I only got an email that file was transferred from Sydney to Mississauga "for further process" I'm not sure if they'll transfer again? Did yours get transferred from Mississauga to local VO?

you will have to get certificate attested from India MOE & authorities , for north india its ministry of external affair & patiala house , please check on that as well

Thank you for your feedback! You are correct - we can't link our application to GCKey as our lawyer is our representative. Hopefully we'll get some updates from them soon. I got the passport request on 8/21 and sent everything in to them by FedEx on 8/27. I had the COPR back from them on 8/31. That part of the process was very fast! I'm sorry that your lawyers aren't more responsive. We actually filed our US PR application through a lawyer and I really regret it. We ended up doing most of the work. So, we did the Canada PR app on our own. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll try to answer them. Happy to help!

Same here mine was june 17 and sent it to Mississauga they received it june 22 still waiting.

It is all due to transfer of files for out-landers from Mississauga to Sydney. We have no way out but to sit and wait. However if you see more than 2 months have passed; as I read above, something has happened to package, it is being processed but not updated on web or AOR1 will be coming eventually. I think it is about time to phone them:-
IRCC Call Centre (1-888-242-2100), from within Canada only, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm local time, except for statutory holidays). May have to go thru all options 2,3,4.
