My wife passed her medical in Jan, and we received AOR2 late November stating her papers have been transferred to Mississauga. Nothing since then! Background check hasn't even started yet 3 months later, and they are still reviewing her eligibility. It seems they wont even make the 12 months mark at this rate.

If you got your GCMS notes look at your primary office and if there is secondary office assigned for processing. You might see that your file has bounced between various places. I’d say you can still call the Cic if your file is still in Canada and see what they say.
