June 18th applicant,
Med req: Feb 8th, passed: Feb 15th,
No SA, AIP or any other kind of updates since then ...

I just talked to an agent now. He just said our file was transferred to a local office in Vancouver (we are living in Montreal!!!), and there is nothing more he can tell me.

He said, we just have to be patient.

I do not understand what I can do. Does anyone know if is there any way to contact them?
My application was also transferred (to Vancouver) from the local office as well as others that you can see in the below link. Feel free to add your timeline...

The agent told me that it's for distribution purposes.

Thanks brother but i just got owp not any mews about sponsorship application
Btw applied on june 2018
File transferred to local office last month right after SA
untill now no news
Were you out of status when you applied for the open work permit?

No i was on TRV and my TRV is expiring next month
Do i need to extend TRV as well?
I asked that question because if you applied for OWP while out of status and you got approved recently for OWP then that means they granted AIP because they only give OWP to out of status applicants after AIP but that's not the case for you since you were in status when you submitted OWP
You don't need to extend TRV because you are no more a visitor in Canada, you are a worker since you are holding OWP, you won't have to worry about losing status until your OWP or passport expires, whichever comes first
