Thanks. I’ll try to get in touch. But do you know if this writ petition also binds local embassy?
Honestly, I don't know and that is where I think a legal opinion may help. Reach out to him and email specifics of your case and see what is his opinion.

Thank you for reaching out. I have read what writ petition is about, but does it also applies on local embassy (new delhi)?? As it’s here that they have held up for past 2.5 yrs. Could you please share your email so we could get in touch.

It does not matter where your application is. Any legal case initiated is against IRCC and not a local embassy or an office. It is IRCC's obligation to respond to the case and the concerned officer will be asked to provide information on the file to the IRCC lawyer, who will provide that into to your lawyer or the Court as the case may be.

@rohanid6 i just received a re-med request today. i added my son to the application in December 2021. Have you had any updates?

Is IRCC even looking at the express entry backlogs? My friend today got passport submission mail, he had PNP and this took just 5 months since his AOR.

That is always been the issue .. IRCC just seem to forget about the older cases. But yours is just too old now and we know from GCMS was approved long time back. Did you talk to some lawyers to explore the legal option?

I did, but their fees are just wayyy too high. It’s like a damn business for everyone to prey upon someone’s situation.

Hi June 2018 AOR Folks,
Anyone started their citizenship journey? Wondering!

You bet. I was looking for a thread, but couldn't find it. Looks like we can start the ROAD TO CITIZENSHIP discussion here.

does anyone know how a local MP can help in getting my file processed? Has anyone taken help before? @daveishan what is the update on your end?
They can inquire about your case on your behalf with IRCC. In some cases that may trigger some action from IRCC but MP office can't explicitly expedite anything. But it is worth a shot.
