Come up with some good news for you us.

On one hand things are slow on the other hand 3600itas..
Good news.. unfortunately nope as of now... IRCC has escalations of slow working time but again budget constraints and lack of workforce... They are taking more than they can chew

Ah u know, waiting with no end in sight..

Any big plan now that u got PR? Still thinking about moving to east coast?
Yeah I know. There is no timeline for SS. But, I am sure yours is close to end, because you have been waiting for so long. I heard somewhere that CIC sends reminder to CBSA every once in a while and inquires about the status of SS.

Yeah, I am still looking into moving, but I haven't had the opportunity yet.

Those who recenty had an update casued by medical expiry, please post your timeline. lets see how many of us are expecting further move!
My medical expired on 30th June, update was on 2 July, medical changed to "you do not need...". Called IRCC immediately, agent said "will put a note on my case so officer has to respond", yet I called IRCC yesterday again and was told background verification is still ongoing, agent confirmed she could see the note on my case though.

Hii I just have a doubt so hope some one can help me . When I applied for Pr my country of residence was uae. But after applying I requested for work visa and thereby landing in canada after applying for pr. But the problem was I didn’t knew that we needed to update our address. So last month they requested our adr and in the generic application we mentioned that our current country of residence is canada. At present my visa office is London as I have heard people who resides in gulf countries most of the applications goes to London. But now I’m in canada so would they again transfer my application from London to any other office in canada. Got pre arrival letter after submitting adr.

Do you mean PPR? If yes, then there is no processing left. But if you would have updated your address they would have instead scheduled an inland landing interview and you wouldn't have to go out and come back to Canada to activate your PR.

So after receiving Ready for VISA email on July 4, we sent our passports to Hong Kong IRCC on July 5. We received our passports back on July 12, which is exactly one week. We plan to land in Toronto on July 20. Good luck to everyone still waiting and hopefully see you in Canada soon.
Finally good news for June. I hope all of us waiting should get ppr soon.

Any idea on what does your background status say, did you order Gcms notes to know more about your case?

The last time I emailed CPC Ottawa I just received and automated reply stating more verification with my application. I ordered GCMS but I don’t receive any reply.
