Hey guys! Quick one. I received my passport back with the stamp and the expiry date is may 2020. My question is, does the 5 year count for citizenship start immediately or after I land and receive my PR Card?
after u land... this stamp just lets u come in... ur pr is not activated.. and citizenship is 3 yr of physical presence in country... not 5 yers...

Last night, I got an update in the online account. At first, I thought it was a ghost update, but then I found out the medical status changed from "you passed the medical exam" to "you do not need a medical exam".
Could this mean something?

My AOR is June 17, 2018. CEC - inland
Medical should've expired in March
Via phone call with IRCC a few days ago, learned that eligibility passed, criminality and security in process. Agent on phone said everything looks normal with our file and she did not see any red flag.
Ordered GCMS notes; haven't received them.
May I know Have you received your ppr?

Thanks! one more thing.. after I spend 3 years in Canada, I become eligible to apply for citizenship. I heard the process takes 1 year. In that process, should I be there physically as well?

Congratulations!! Wish you all the best!

When did you go for remed? And when was it passed?

Thank you so much!!

We got our remed request on the 14th of May, went to the exam on the 29th of May. Then passed the medical exam on the 6th of June and got PPR on the 10th of June.

Good question... technically u shld be... but i don think it matters... but if they do background checks and if u r out for long might raise flags and unnecessary delay
